Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented Senior Online Game Progammer with expertise in game server coding, DevOps, Linux, and shell scripting. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain game servers, ensuring high performance and reliability. This role requires strong technical skills in backend development, DevOps practices, Linux systems, and proficiency in C/C++.
In this role, your missions will be the following:
- Develop and maintain scalable game servers.
- Implement server-side logic for online multiplayer games.
- Manage server infrastructure and ensure high availability.
- Monitor and optimize server performance.
- Implement security measures to protect game data.
- Perform DevOps tasks including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Work with Linux systems and write shell scripts for automation and management tasks.
Relevant experience, skills and knowledge
- Proven experience in game server development.
- Proven experience shipping at least one online multiplayer game or operating a large‑scale live service.
- Proficient in backend programming languages, including C/C++, C#,Python, ...
- Strong understanding of network protocols and multiplayer architecture.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
- Proficiency with Linux and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP , AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of iOS/OSX environments is a plus.

Our office is located in Saint Mandé, (Metro line 1, Saint Mandé station). Gym available in the building. According to Ubisoft's hybrid work model, our flexible work policy includes a minimum of 3 days a week in our Saint-Mandé office and the remaining 2 days working from home.
Recruitment process
45 minutes : screening with the recruiter
60 minutes : interview with the manager of the role
60 minutes : interview with members of the team.
