Takealot Group, South Africa's leading online Retail / Fashion / Delivery organisation, is looking for a highly talented Finance & Admin Management Intern to join our team in Durban Distribution Centre. The Internship Programme will be split between all businesses within the Group, namely: , TFS and Mr D.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

N6 Certificate in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and financial applications
  • Effective time-management and organizational skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Support Time & Attendance administration, including biometrics updates and headcount reconciliation.
  • Assist with basic financial administration, including invoice capturing and document control.
  • Complete onboarding and training on DC systems
  • Support the Admin office with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Support procurement and inventory management for packaging, consumables, and uniforms.
  • Update and maintain daily KPI dashboards and reports.
  • Assist with month-end finance activities, including PO reconciliation, accruals, and supplier statements.
  • Assist with budget preparation, cost analysis, and spend tracking.
  • Provide insights on usage trends and supplier performance.
  • Support audit, compliance, and year-end processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, and Admin stakeholders to drive efficiency.

This is a 12-month contract position.
