Your role

As a 2–6 years Teacher, you are the pedagogical leader of the classroom environment.

You design, lead, and bring to life a Montessori, English-speaking environment that is structured, stimulating, and emotionally secure, allowing each child to learn at their own pace and fully develop their potential.

You carry out your role with autonomy, responsibility, and vision, while contributing to a collective educational project aligned with both the Montessori philosophy and the French National Education curriculum, as well as the values of the Esclaibes Group.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a Montessori 2–6 classroom in an English-speaking environment
  • Independently plan and facilitate daily classroom activities, including:

Montessori work cycles, group activities, and specific programs (holiday workshops, cross-curricular projects, etc.)

  • Ensure children's academic learning while respecting both Montessori principles and the expectations of the French National Education curriculum
  • Provide individualized follow-up for each child through observation, continuous assessment, and personalized support
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of the school's educational project
  • Plan the annual curriculum, prepare lessons, and maintain all required pedagogical documentation and records
  • Build and maintain a trust-based relationship with families, within a clear and professional framework
  • Work in close collaboration with the educational team, ensuring pedagogical consistency and continuity

Our 2–6 years classroom welcomes 16 students, supported by a French-speaking lead teacher and an English-speaking assistant.

Candidate profile

  • You are trained in the Montessori pedagogy
  • You have a fluent level of English
  • You have at least 3 years of experience working with children aged 2 to 6
