Context

Compliant with the highest security standards (ISO 27001 and PCI DSS), Skaleet supports over 30 regulated financial institutions and manages more than 8 million bank accounts worldwide (across Europe, Africa, and Latin America).

As our business continues to grow, securing our infrastructure and the data it contains is a top priority. To ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of our security control plan while contributing to the security of our product and infrastructure, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer Intern

As a Cybersecurity Engineer Intern, you will join the Security team, and will report directly to Benjamin, our Chief Information Security Officer.

Your future missions

• Implementing the annual security control plan and drafting reports.
• Contributing to Skaleet's DORA compliance and ISO 27001 recertification.
• Enhancing control processes and automating security controls.
• Strengthening the overall security level of our infrastructure.
• Improving our internal detection capabilities and handle security alerts.
• More broadly, helping to build a strong security culture within Skaleet by supporting different teams in adopting security best practices.

As part of theSkaleet security team, you will receive guidance and training to quickly develop your skills and will be continuously supported in your tasks.

You are a great match if :

• You are a final-year engineering student or pursuing a Master's degree (Bac+5) with a specialization in cybersecurity.
• Looking for an end-of-studies internship.

Hard Skills

• Strong knowledge of Linux systems and comfortable using terminal commands.
• Proficiency in Python scripting to automate tasks and analyze data.
• Passionate about exploring various topics related to governance and operational security.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document processes and improve existing documentation.
• Interest in FinTech and technological products.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to bring new ideas.
• Rigorous, organized, and committed to producing high-quality work.

About your future manager

Benjamin graduated from TélécomSud Paris in 2017 with a specialization in cybersecurity. He worked as a consultant at Wavestone before joining Skaleet as CISO in November 2024.
