BACKGROUND

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Web & Digital Platforms Coordinator to join our communication team to assist in updating and maintaining Worldchefs' websites, digital platforms and products . The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of information technology to support Worldchefs' web projects, content updates, and digital communication efforts to enhance user engagement and brand visibility worldwide.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Website & Digital Platform Management

  • Web & App Development:
  • Work with the Communications Manager and external web agencies (IT company, developer, and UX/UI designer) to design and implement new website and app features that align with user needs and improve existing designs based on Worldchefs' needs.
  • Collaborate with the Communications and Project teams to optimize web presence, including homepage, landing pages, and conversion flows.
  • Develop requirements documents, functional specifications, and mockups to illustrate product ideas and concepts.
  • Maintain and update company process handbook and create user guides in English.
  • Content & Platform Updates:
  • Act as webmaster to update content on the Worldchefs website, mobile app, and Worldchefs Academy online course.
  • Oversee the competition management systems; configure system to work for each competition, train the judges and organizers, and provide support during the competition
  • Maintain and update application systems (Certification, Recognized School) via Jotform, Kantree, and WordPress, and digital badges via Credly.

Digital & Content Management

  • Documentation & Guides: Develop technical documents, functional specifications, user guides, and mock-ups.
  • Content management: Publish events, news, and multimedia content across web and digital platforms.

SEO & Analytics

  • Performance Tracking: Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Lighthouse, SEMrush, PageSpeed Insights, Cloudflare) to monitor and analyze key performance indicators.
  • Reporting & Insights:
  • Compile monthly SEO, domain, web, and product reports, analyzing results for improvement.
  • Support the Communications team in implementing SEO best practices and optimizing internal tools/processes.
  • Analytics Reporting: Monitor and report on digital campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.

Marketing & Communications Support

  • Campaign Execution: Support digital marketing initiatives and traditional event-based marketing activities.

Security Management

  • Ensure all products and service providers comply with GDPR and Data Protection laws.
  • Utilize Cloudlfare and other tools to monitor security measures, review traffic insights, ensure safer browsing, and keep user data safe across web domains.

Administrative & IT Support

  • Content Management: Organize communication materials and maintain digital assets, including photo libraries.
  • Certification Assistance: Support the creation and distribution of digital certifications.
  • Office IT Management: Oversee IT infrastructure and assist with IT-related administrative tasks.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Complete training and other tasks assigned by the Communications Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSEducation & Technical Experience

· Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields (or related):

o Web Development

o Information Technology (IT)

o Digital Communications

· 2–3 years of experience managing web-based products and digital communications.

· Experience in creating and updating content on websites.

Bonus Skills

· Proficiency with WordPress CMS, Elementor theme, WordPress Plugins, Guttenberg Editor.

  • Experience in working with SEO tools such as SEMrush or Yoast Plugin.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.

· Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom).

· Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban).

  • Experience with tools such as JotForm, Credly, Egnyte, DocuSign, Lucid chart, Canva will be a plus.

· Basic design skills using Canva, Illustrator, and Photoshop is a plus

· Strong understanding of web trends, UX design principles, and digital marketing tools.

· Graphic design, photography, or video editing proficiency.

· Multilingual abilities - English proficiency (IELTS 8.0 / CAE C1 / TOEFL iBT 110+) required; additional languages are a plus.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Collaborative mindset with a can-do attitude.

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English.
