Global Insights is a leading international strategic consultancy specializing in high-level political risk, economic intelligence and regulatory foresight. To strengthen our Paris-based European practice, we are seeking an outstanding **Senior Advisor** with deep institutional experience in France and Europe, combined with unique information-access capabilities.

**Profile Overview**

You are a highly experienced professional (10–15+ years) with the following core strengths:

  • Extensive professional background and long-established personal networks within key French government departments or inter-ministerial bodies (defense, foreign affairs, interior, economy/finance, etc.).

  • Trust-based, high-level relationships across the upper echelons of the French administration and relevant European institutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Closely monitor and conduct in-depth analysis of major trends and risks in geopolitics, defense industry, technological sovereignty, and economic security.

  • Combine exclusive insights obtained through your personal network with open-source analysis to produce high-quality, decision-ready intelligence products.

  • Deliver forward-looking, highly granular strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams.

  • Provide precise assessments of emerging regulatory, procurement, and security-policy risks and opportunities at national and EU level.

**Required Background**

  • Prior senior roles held in French institutions, EU bodies, or other major international organizations strongly preferred.

  • Master's degree or higher in political science, international relations, public policy, economics, law, or related fields.

  • Fully professional English proficiency (able to draft high-level reports and conduct complex discussions fluently).

  • Highest levels of discretion with an impeccable professional ethic and compliance record.

**Strongly Preferred**

  • Significant expertise and specialized background in signals intelligence (SIGINT) or related technical-intelligence domains.
