Solution Architect
to join the Pre-Sales team in
Paris, France

The Pre-Sales team provides expert technical support to sales teams to help drive sales of our vendor IT solutions (Application Delivery & Security) throughout the sales cycle. They actively contribute to qualifying customer needs, designing tailored solutions and ensuring project success, while helping to develop lasting partnerships with customers and the publisher.

Working Relationships


• Direct reporting line to the Pre-Sales Manager.


• Close collaboration with the vendor-specific Business Developer Manager (BDM), forming a partnership on strategic opportunities.


• Work closely with account managers to support and develop the client and partner portfolio.


• Interact regularly with the office-based sales teams and marketing teams (events, campaigns, webinars).

Your Key Responsibilities


• Act as the technical expert for IT solutions (BIG-IP, NGINX, WAAP, application security, load balancing, high availability, etc.) and keep vendor certifications up to date.


• Support sales teams during client meetings (presentations, demonstrations, POCs).


• Analyse customer needs and recommend appropriate technical architectures and configurations, promoting the proposed solutions.


• Participate in the development of technical responses to calls for tenders and commercial proposals.


• Support customers and partners in developing their skills: webinars, seminars, technical workshops, training courses.


• Monitor technology and competition in the areas of ADC, application security and network infrastructure.


• Facilitate and develop the partner ecosystem by organising and running boot camps and technical deep dives to strengthen their expertise in vendor IT solutions and accelerate their commercial and technical autonomy.


• Develop and maintain a privileged relationship with the vendor publisher, in coordination with the BDM, in order to support the commercial and technical strategy.

Your required professional knowledge


• Fluent in
French
(local language) and
English
(business language)


• Engineering degree or Master's degree in computer science, networks or cybersecurity (strongly recommended).


• Significant experience in pre-sales or engineering in network, security and/or application infrastructure environments.


• Good command of network and application architectures (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, load balancing, high availability, application security).


• Knowledge of vendor IT solutions or equivalent ecosystems (ADC, reverse proxy, WAF, API security) appreciated.


• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
