Qualification/ Personal Attributes
- Diploma / B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in laboratory testing and quality control in battery or chemical industries
- Knowledge of lab instruments, chemical handling, and testing procedures
- Familiarity with ISO standards and documentation practices
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and good communication skills
Job Description
- Conduct routine and special tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products
- Operate and maintain lab instruments such as spectrometers, density meters, and conductivity testers
- Record and analyse test data to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Support quality investigations and root cause analysis through lab testing
- Maintain lab records, calibration logs, and test reports as per ISO and customer audit requirements
- Ensure safe handling of chemicals and adherence to EHS protocols
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for sampling and reporting
- Assist in development and validation of new testing methods and procedures
