Job Summary:

Reporting to the CI leader in France, the Digital Commercial Insurance (DCI) Manager will be responsible for the delivery of products on digital platforms.

The Small business ecosystem is different from the Middle Market and Global Account segment in terms of competition, distribution channels, operational efficiency, digital management, and flexibility of product delivery. Hence, the need for a dedicated focus on this important segment. 

The DCI business requires additional underwriting oversight on a portfolio and catastrophic loss perspective.  The successful incumbent will implement appropriate strategies needed to build a successful multiline package portfolio.

Key Responsibilities (Distribution):

  • Support the CI leader and CI Distribution leader in the creation of a new DCI business within France. This includes developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for the Digital Commercial Insurance department.

  • Work in close partnership with the technology and operations teams to develop and build the DCI platform, proposition, and products

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product development, IT, marketing, underwriting, etc.) to design, launch, and continuously enhance the digital insurance offerings that meet the needs of commercial clients

  • Analyze market trends and support the development of new products and distribution strategies

  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation in the digital commercial insurance market.

  • Promote Chubb as the 'go-to' market for brokers and clients in this space. Act as a senior representative for Chubb Digital Commercial, driving strategic relationships, trading, and execution with all broking partners. Support and encourage colleagues to drive the business.

  • Work with dedicated Actuarial support on Portfolio Management, Pricing Modernization projects, and CAT utilization/aggregation 

  • Multiline authority holder for the new product line

Qualifications

What you'll bring: 

  • Multiline insurance underwriting experience essential (ideally 7+ years)

  • Portfolio Management experience

  • Digital / Small Commercial underwriting experience

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating collaborative engagement across diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • A track record of entrepreneurial thinking and initiative, with a drive for results in a fast-paced environment.
