DISCOVER your opportnuity Description of the entity: AXA-IM Select is a dynamic Investment Company, focused on delivering multi-manager investment propositions as a business unit of AXA-IM. Our consistent investment process enables us to design multi-manager solutions as well as act as a center of investment excellence for the AXA Group. We are a member of the BNP PARIBAS GROUP, bringing multi-manager expertise to the whole company. Within AXA IM Select, the department UL Transversal Services was set up as a transversal initiative to offer investment solutions with guarantees to our business client. We design, manufacture, deliver and distribute unit linked investments with guarantees. One of the main activities of the team is to perform the daily calculation and hedging of financial risks within a pre-defined hedging strategy, the daily calculation of the Profit and Loss (P&L) and its accurate attribution. Continuous tools maintenance and upgrade as well as improvements in the strategy are made to achieve the best hedging P&L possible. Your missions: Within ULTSO, the intern will contribute to the evolution of the tools and libraries used for the hedging activities and integration of new data sources in addition to the simplification of some hedging hedging processes. The intern will also participate in daily hedging operations on Variable Annuity products which include: • Daily monitoring of risks and calibration of hedging transactions • Understand and analyze hedging P&L evolution and attribution Qualifications SHARE your unique expertise Qualifications • Master’s level student in mathematics, finance, or engineering, seeking a final-year internship. Technical skills • Strong knowledge of advanced financial mathematics, asset modeling, derivative products, and stochastic techniques. • Solid understanding of financial markets, savings products, insurance-related risks, and hedging strategies. Familiarity with Variable Annuities is a plus. • Proficient in VBA, C , C#, and Python. Experience with Bloomberg is an advantage. • Languages: English and French.
