Function descriptionThe second mate onboard the vessel is responsible for navigation and the dredging process. Your work area is also on deck, to instruct the deck crew. An important part of this dual function is operating the pipe. As a pipe operator on board a hopper you fulfill an indispensable task. You are responsible for the dredging process and its optimization. You immediately participate in this experienced team, so that the production continues to run smoothly. What is expected of you as a 2nd mate/pipe operator?
