Structure and Piping Design Lead Engineer

What will you be doing?En tant que Lead Engineer Structure au sein du département Structures & Piping Design du "Global Project Center" (Centre d'Excellence dédié aux Grands Projects du Groupe), vous piloterez et serez responsable d'un package de structures sur des projets d'envergure internationale. Vous coordonnerez les activités de conception, gérerez les interfaces techniques, encadrerez une équipe d'ingénieurs en garantissant la qualité des livrables dans le respect des délais, du budget et des standards HSEQ.Vous contribuerez également à l'amélioration continue des méthodes de travail et au développement technologique de la discipline.As Lead Engineer Structure within the Structures & Piping Design Department of the Global Project Centre (Subsea7's Centre of Excellence for Major Projects), you will lead and be responsible for a package of structures on large-scale international projects. You will coordinate design activities, manage technical interfaces, and supervise a team of engineers, ensuring the quality of deliverables while meeting deadlines, budgets, and HSEQ standards. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of work processes and the technological development of the discipline. What experience would we like you to have? Être l'interlocuteur technique auprès des clients, fournisseurs et parties prenantes Encadrer et faire monter en compétence les ingénieurs de votre équipe Contribuer à l'amélioration continue et au développement technologique de la discipline Organize and plan structural and piping design activities. Manage the production and validation of technical deliverables (calculations, specifications, procedures...). Act as the technical point of contact for clients, suppliers, and stakeholders. Supervise and support the development of your engineering team. Contribute to continuous improvement and technology development within the discipline. Competencies Diplôme d'ingénieur ou équivalent Minimum 8 ans d'expérience en conception de structures offshore (SURF, Oil & Gas, énergies renouvelables) Expertise pour organiser et prioriser sa propre charge de travail et celle des autres, gérer le temps et le contrôle des changements en conséquence Expérience à un niveau équivalent, y compris une période en tant qu'ingénieur Senior, dans les activités liées à la conception structurelle d'équipements dans les domaines Pétroliers et Gaziers, Subsea ou d'Energie Renouvelable Offshores Solide expérience en construction métallique en général, connaissances et expérience concrète en conception d'ouvrages permanents du secteur (ILT, PLET...) obligatoires; experience en fabrication sera un plus Maîtrise des codes de conception (AISC, API, DNV, Eurocodes...) et des logiciels (SACS ou équivalent, ANSYS,...) Connaissances solides en matériaux, soudage, tuyauterie et fabrication Leadership reconnu, sens de l'organisation et excellentes capacités de communication à tous les niveaux de l'organisation, écrite et orale Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais indispenables Être motivé et posséder des capacités interpersonnelles bien développées Engineering degree or equivalent Minimum 8 years of experience in offshore structural design (SURF, Oil & Gas, Renewables) Expertise in organizing and prioritizing own and others' workload, managing time and change control accordingly Experience at a similar level, including time as a Senior Engineer, in structural design activities related to Oil & Gas, Subsea equipment, or Offshore Renewables Strong background in steel construction and permanent structure design (e.g., ILTs, PLETs); fabrication experience is a plus Proficiency in design codes (AISC, API, DNV, Eurocodes...) and software (SACS or equivalent, ANSYS...) Solid knowledge of materials, welding, piping, and fabrication Recognized leadership, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities at all levels, both written and verbal.
