In your new role you will be responsible for providing the most accurate technical economical metal cutting solution for specific customers parts or applications in Aerospace. As part of EMEA team, you are going to collaborate with different Kennametal teams as well in order to provide the best solution for our customers.You will support customer, field sales, marketing, and manufacturing with accurate and timely engineering content and information.Position based in France (alternative Germany). 60% Home OfficeYour responsibilities:Respond to customer requests for specific tools and specificationsRespond to technical projects from customers for machining complex partsSupport for the realization of 2D or 3D concept and manufacturing drawings to value technical proposalsPerform CAM simulation to value the projectInternal or external presentations of proposed tools and machining programsDefine special tools in coordination with specialized departmentsTechnical support for sales and customersTechnical and economical advice for the choice of the supplier of the special toolsUse and update of technical databaseTravel over several days to visit clients, approx. 25% of the timeYour profile:Master's degree in mechanical engineering, preferably with a specialization in manufacturing or production engineering, or comparable education with qualified further training in the same fields10-15 years of experience in machining and metalworking with tools application (time study and manufacturing process of mechanical parts) in aerospace segment as preferredNative/bilingual level of French languageVery good language skills in English spoken and written (another language is an asset: German or another one)Knowledge of CAM / CAD: experience with NX, Autocad, Catia, Hypermill, Esprit, Topsolid, SolidCam or Fusion360, Mastercam, Edgecam; a big assetCNC programming capabilities will be a positive addClamping fixture knowledge will be a positive addGood knowledge of MS OfficeKnowledge of SAP; big assetStrong teamwork skills and high communication skillsHigh autonomy with missions' prioritization and good time managementGood presentation skillsEqual Opportunity Employer
