Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.Within Central Engineering dedicated to Rolling Stock & Component, in the Train Design Office Department, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for Catering Scope.YOUR RESPONSIBILITES :Create technical referential for Catering scope from architecture point of viewSupport to push the standard solution on tendersEnsure project execution in coherence with internal rules & catalog solutionsManage functionally team of CAD & Engineer internal or/and externalOff cycle phaseGather existing catering architectures and solutions Select & write technical referential based on the best tradeoff between internal rules and customer requirementsDuring Tender PhaseEnsure the correct definition, design, performances and integration of Catering scopeAnalysis of customer requirementsSecure architecture and allocated volumes, in collaboration with Train Architecture Manager & the Bid Technical ManagerSupport mechanical subsystem engineer within supplier technical proposalsContribute to write Technical Assessment on the technical proposals to commit, including the correct integration of the system on trainDeliver/Contribute to technical descriptionsDuring Project PhaseEnsure the correct definition, design, performances and integration of Catering scope:Analysis of customer requirementsSupport writing the Technical Purchasing Specification, in collaboration with the TAMPrepare activities of CAD & Mechanical Engineers (Fitting scope, Interior Scope, Build to Spec scope within catering area)Check the interface maturity with train environmentOrganize design / verification reviews & provides associated reportEnsure the quality of the deliverablesSupport Mechanical SubSystem Engineer during design & suppliers reviewPROFILE : To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes: Graduated with a master degree, preferably in mechanical, you have a strong expertise on railway (minimum 5 years).Strong knowledge of mechanical design including use of CAD toolsYou demonstrate good communication and organizational skills (ability to meet deadlines). You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.Ability to manage several tenders or/and projects at the same time.Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new AlstomJoin our team and contribute to technical excellence in the catering domain.As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, optimization, and reliability of equipment and systems dedicated to onboard meal preparation and distribution.
