Role Description: We are seeking an Installation Methods Senior Engineer (Contractor) to join the “Installation Methods Engineering” department within the “Global Project Center.” You will be responsible for the installation of subsea structures, mooring systems, riser systems, flexible flowlines, and/or umbilicals. You will prepare the scope and support the offshore crew during operations, ensuring coordination with the client, suppliers, offshore crew, and design team. Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of engineers and manage a technical packageHandle all external (clients, suppliers) and internal (disciplines, installation, manufacturing, procurement) interfacesPrepare documentation and preliminary studies for tenders, FEEDs, and projectsSupervise engineering activities related to preparation and offshore installationPlan, prepare, and validate specific procedures (site tests, transport, installation) and related calculation notes (e.g., lifting sling design)Participate in vessel mobilization and offshore installation phases to validate technical solutions in line with HSEQ standardsEnsure activities comply with project standards for Quality, Cost, and TimeSelect contractors and supervise subcontracted studiesValidate concepts and manage changes with HSEQ considerationsPropose improvements and validate developments aligned with HSEQ standardsContribute to team development and expertise consolidationOffer innovative solutions to reduce costsCandidate Profile:Master’s degree in Engineering with relevant experience in the energy sectorExperience in subsea structure installation and/or flexible flowlines/umbilicals is requiredExperience in mooring installation is a plusOffshore operations experienceStrong autonomy, coordination, and communication skillsProven leadership experienceFluent in EnglishWorking Conditions:Primarily office-basedOccasional international travelOffshore or off-site presence during project execution phases as neededWith over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
