OverviewOur client is seeking a highly skilled Data Finance Product Owner with strong Oracle ERP experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will bridge Finance and Data functions, ensuring that financial data products, models, and reporting solutions meet business objectives and align with strategic priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine product vision & objectives: Establish a clear vision for Finance Data products aligned with organizational goals.Data backlog ownership: Build, prioritize, and manage a comprehensive backlog of data initiatives.Develop the Data Finance roadmap: Create and maintain a strategic roadmap to guide financial data product evolution.Align with Finance strategy: Ensure all data-related initiatives support broader Finance transformation and operational objectives.Requirements gathering: Collaborate with Finance teams to understand business needs, processes, and pain points.Translate needs into data requirements: Convert business expectations into actionable and technically feasible data specifications.Define & refine financial indicators: Standardize KPIs, metrics, and financial performance indicators across functions.Support data modelling & reporting: Guide business teams in enhancing data models, reporting capabilities, and analytical frameworks.Stakeholder management: Manage trade-offs, communicate priorities, and balance expectations across Finance, Data, and IT stakeholders.Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Data Finance Product Owner, preferably in large or complex organizations.Strong Oracle ERP (e.g., Oracle Financials, Oracle Cloud ERP) knowledge, particularly in Financial modules and data frameworks.Deep understanding of financial processes, reporting cycles, and finance operations.Ability to simplify complex data concepts for non-technical Finance stakeholders.Excellent communication and synthesis skills, both written and verbal.Adaptability and resilience in a fast-evolving environment with shifting priorities.
