Analyst – Fasteners & Coatings Benchmark (Automotive Sector)Fixed-term contract for an initial period of one year / Poste en CDD d'un an au démarrage Company OverviewNOF Metal Coatings Europe is a global leader in anti-corrosion and surface treatment technologies for metal components, serving key industrial sectors such as automotive, fasteners, railway, renewable energies, and construction.With subsidiaries across Europe and a strong collaboration with global NOF Group entities, the company combines deep technical expertise, data-driven market intelligence, and a strong focus on innovation and customer value creation.Within the automotive sector, NOF Metal Coatings Europe has developed a unique benchmarking capability to analyze fastener technologies, suppliers, coatings, and market dynamics in close connection with OEM requirements and sales strategy.Position OverviewAs Analyst – Fasteners & Coatings Benchmark, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial and strategic development of NOF Metal Coatings Europe within the automotive industry.The position combines:Data-driven analysis using partner platforms and structured technical databases,Hands-on technical work, including coating identificationBusiness-oriented insights to support sales targeting, market positioning, and strategic decision-making.You will work at the intersection of technical expertise, market intelligence, and sales support, providing high-value insights to commercial and management teams.Key ResponsibilitiesBenchmarking & Market IntelligenceExtract and analyze relevant data using partner platforms (e.g. A2MAC1).Build, feed, and maintain the fasteners and coatings benchmark database, including:fastener manufacturers,coatings types,OEM–supplier relationships,market share evolution.Map the automotive fasteners ecosystem: identify which suppliers work with which OEMs and track competitive dynamics.Technical Analysis & Laboratory WorkPerform visual identification of fasteners (manufacturer, headmark symbols, coating type, color, markings).sourcing of parts,laboratory testing,interpretation of results.Monitor technological trends in OEM fastener usage:changes in volumes,dimensional evolution,new materials, architectures, or design strategies.Reporting & Sales SupportPrepare analytical reports, dashboards, and presentations for the sales and management teams.Translate complex technical and market data into clear insights to:support strategic targeting of suppliers,facilitate commercial discussions,strengthen NOF's value proposition toward OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.Required QualificationsTechnical or scientific background (product engineering, data analysis, or related fields, mechanics).Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.Solid proficiency with Excel; ability to handle structured datasets.Comfortable working with IT tools and following defined analytical procedures.Fluent English (spoken and written).Basic knowledge of chemistry, ideally related to coatings or surface treatments.Preferred QualificationsExperience or knowledge of A2MAC1 platforms and methodologies.Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.Previous exposure to the automotive, fasteners, or coatings industry.Ability to connect technical findings with commercial implications.Profile & Soft SkillsStrong analytical mindset with intellectual curiosity.Ability to bridge technical, data, and commercial perspectives.High level of autonomy, rigor, and reliability.Interest in industrial products, automotive technologies, and competitive intelligence.Comfortable working in a structured, quality-driven industrial environment.What We OfferA key analytical role supporting commercial strategy in the automotive sector.Direct exposure to OEM technologies, fastener suppliers, and market trends.A position combining laboratory work, data analysis, and business insight.A stable role within a recognized international industrial group.Opportunities to develop expertise in a high-value niche at the crossroads of technology and strategy.
