- About Us+Simple is a pan-European insurance platform solving a critical market gap: providing specialized insurance coverage to small businesses that traditional insurers are reluctant to serve. For many professionals—from tattoo artists to accountants, medical practitioners to construction companies—proper insurance isn't just protection; it's essentially a "work permit" allowing them to operate legally.Our technology platform automates the entire insurance value chain, transforming the economics of small commercial insurance. Operational costs typically make these segments unprofitable for traditional providers. Through our platform, 14,000 small brokers across Europe can issue quotes within minutes, process payments, and activate coverage instantly for their clients.We operate in five European countries (France ~40%, Italy ~30%, Germany, Spain, and Austria ~30%) with ~250 employees. We are profitable, managing approximately €350 million in premium volume and generating €60 million in revenue. Our tech team has built a robust back-office system handling hundreds of thousands of complex transactions with the reliability required for financial services.Our product team is organized into three tribes:Tribe 1, "Insurance Factory," focuses on the back end and insurance products.Tribe 2, "Broker Growth," drives platform retention and usage through ease of use, recurring value demonstration, and effective engagement hooks.Tribe 3, "Broker Service," is focused on contracts lifecycle and AI. It supports our front-line staff in providing fast and helpful support to brokers.We're seeking a Tribe Lead for Tribe 2 "Broker Growth" who can advance our platform's capabilities and expand our reach in delivering specialized insurance solutions to underserved business segments across Europe. - MissionTraditional insurers have commercial organizations designed for large brokers who represent a significant share of their portfolio. +Simple's secret sauce is adapting the commercial approach to niche products that serve less concentrated, more casual brokers—while ensuring the best end-to-end digital experience. These aspects are at the core of the Tribe Lead for Broker Growth mission.The Tribe Lead reports directly to the Head of Product and focuses on broker acquisition, onboarding, conversion, retention, and overall platform engagement. This happens either directly through new features and feature improvements, or through tools (particularly CRM/PRM) that enable the sales & marketing team to perform their job in a time- and cost-effective way.Currently, the Tribe Lead manages one other product manager, with that number evolving based on the roadmap.This position plays a crucial role in driving company growth through optimizing the broker experience, aligned with the broader organizational goal of scaling the platform across European markets. - Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Stakeholder Management - Define and communicate the long-term vision for the Broker Growth tribe, ensuring alignment with company OKRs. Understand and balance business stakes across markets while maintaining the right equilibrium between country-specific objectives and pan-European scalability.Roadmap & Execution - Own and propose the product roadmap for the Broker Growth tribe to maximize impact and ROI of key features and improvements for broker acquisition, onboarding, retention as well as sales conversions. Implement best practices for product discovery, including broker interviews and tech de-risking to ensure new features meet market needs, fit the platform design, and deliver value.Team Development and Mentorship - As Tribe Lead, develop your product team's skills and champion best product practices. Guide them in thorough discovery, including broker interviews, while balancing effective delivery. Foster continuous improvement, data-driven decisions, and customer focus. Empower the team to define and deliver products that meet business goals and exceed market needs.Key indicators:Marketing Tools for Acquisition, Activation, and Retention - Implement and optimize systems that allow commercial teams to centralize broker information, track the impact of their actions, and automate relevant, personalized communication at key moments in the broker lifecycle.Key indicators :for all brokers : conversation rate from search to sign - North Star = #quote sentfor new brokers : self serve onboarding rate, 90d activation on 1st and 2nd contractfor existing brokers : yearly retention rate, broker graduation in frequency buckets - Education & ExperienceEducation: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 7-10 years in product management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in a technology-driven company, ideally within the insurtech or fintech sectors. - Competencies, Skills & AttitudeCompetenciesStrong understanding of product strategy, roadmaps, and agile development processesExperience managing acquisition, activation, and retention metricsIn-depth knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Metabase, Amplitude)Familiarity with CRM or PRM tools like HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Attio—especially in fragmented distribution contextsSkillsStrategic Vision: Develops long-term strategic plans while ensuring tactical executionAnalytical Mindset: Uses data and metrics to guide product decisionsProject Management: Manages cross-functional teams and drives product initiatives from concept to launchCommunication: Explains complex product concepts clearly to stakeholders, both verbally and in writingEnglish : fluentAttitudeCurious: Always seeking new insights and ways to improve the product.
