This is an opportunity to join at a formative stage and contribute directly to the development of a breakthrough climate solution.About the RoleThe team is recruiting a hands-on Electrochemistry Technician to support the assembly, operation, and testing of experimental hardware central to the company's core technology. Working closely with engineers and scientists, you will help build and maintain electrochemical and mechanical systems, operate test benches, and monitor experiments in a fast-paced R&D environment.This role requires precision, reliability, and a strong safety mindset. You will work with sensitive instrumentation, pressurised systems, chemicals, and both wet and dry lab procedures. Your work will directly enable rapid experimentation and iteration, and your observations will inform improvements in both product design and lab processes.Electrochemistry Technician responsibilitiesPerform basic chemistry tasks such as preparing cell components and formulating solutionsAssemble mechanical, electrochemical, and fluid components with high precision and repeatabilityBuild, modify, and operate laboratory test benchesMonitor experiments, identify abnormal behaviour, and support troubleshooting activitiesInstall and handle sensors, fittings, tubing, and instrumentation for test setupsProvide practical feedback to the technical team on design, usability, and assembly processesMaintain a clean, organised laboratory environment and follow all safety proceduresDocument assembly steps, test results, and observations clearly for internal useUphold strict safety standards when working with chemicals, pressurised systems, and lab equipmentElectrochemistry Technician requirements Practical experience in chemical laboratories, including wet lab workBachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry preferredStrong understanding of electrochemistry Experience in precision assembly or high-volume technical assemblyAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagramsFamiliarity with compression fittings, tubing, leak testing, and fluid handlingExperience installing and handling sensors and laboratory instrumentationStrong understanding of standard lab practices such as handling glassware, weighing, and solution preparationDemonstrated awareness of laboratory and workplace safetyClear written and verbal communication skillsFluent in English, French is a plusWhat's on OfferTransportation coverage and Swile benefitsThe opportunity to join an early-stage climate tech company and play a critical role in its growthA collaborative and technically driven work environment with a steep learning curveThe chance to contribute meaningfully to solutions addressing climate changeA culture that values work ethic, intellectual honesty, and shared ownershipParis/Lab Technician/Electrochemistry/wet chemistry/assembly€Comp + benefits
