DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE The goal of the internship is to bring geoscience expertise using Petrel software to characterize a geological site in order to assess the feasibility of carbon capture and storage (CCS) as part of a research project. The internship is part of a collaboration between SLB and the Department of Geosciences at the University of Montpellier.DELIVERABLES Develop expertise in structural and fracture modeling workflows in Petrel with the SLB teamAssist university researchers in project data analysis using PetrelHelp researchers build structural and fracture models with PetrelCreate progress reports for the projectServe as the link between the SLB Petrel team and university researchers regarding project progressREQUIRED SKILLS Studying a Masters in Geosciences or similarExperience with geomodeling software (e.g., Petrel) is an assetEnglish communication skills
