As the Vice President Total Rewards at Evotec, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people reward strategy in alignment with the company overall people strategy. As a member of the Global HR Leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the global strategy in total rewards, compensation & benefits, and equity programs, and global mobility. Your focus will be on implementing high-impact total reward approaches that elevate Evotec's standing in the talent market. Operating across a diverse landscape spanning Germany, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Austria, and the United States, you will collaborate closely with country teams, C-level executives, senior leadership, and cross-functional experts in finance and legal.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive total reward, compensation & benefits strategy aligned with Evotec's growth objectives, establishing the company as an employer of choice. Lead the development and implementation of a consistent and equitable compensation framework, covering job leveling, compensation positioning, variable pay, incentive schemes, and international mobility policies. Play a crucial role in large-scale business change projects, new ventures, and mergers and acquisitions, ensuring the alignment of total rewards strategies. Manage equity programs, collaborating closely with finance and legal teams, and oversee the administration through external Equity Administrators. Coordinate and execute end-to-end compensation and benefits processes, including annual increase cycles, benchmarking, and the introduction of new benefits. Manage executive compensation, preparing and presenting reports to the management board. Day-to-day management and sparring with a highly skilled, dedicated, and professional team. Stay abreast of emerging compensation and benefits trends, issues, and best practices, driving innovation to maintain Evotec's competitiveness in the talent market. Own employee journeys around reward, developing and executing a comprehensive rewards communication strategy. Develop communication and change management strategies to enhance employee knowledge and understanding of complex compensation and benefits topics and programs. Be responsible for executive compensation.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in compensation and benefits programs, demonstrating strong leadership across Europe and the US. Experience within Compensation & Benefits in a multinational fast-growing matrix organization. Strong analytical skills, data-driven mindset, and excellent financial acumen. In-depth understanding of legal, tax, and social security requirements related to compensation and benefits. Effective and concise communicator, with the ability to adapt communication styles for different levels and audiences within the organization. Proficiency in English languages, other European languages (German, French, or Italian) beneficial. Experience in global mobility programming is preferred.
