Direct Response Copywriter Wanted

Kendago is a global, premium digital advertising group specializing in direct response marketing. We are seeking a skilled and creative copywriter to join our CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) team. As a Direct Response Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the promotional materials for some of the most successful direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands.



Responsibilities:

Remote, Part-time, with possibility of going full-time:

  • Work remotely with the potential for transitioning to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Support the CRO department:

  • Collaborate with the Conversion Rate Optimization team to enhance the funnels of leading DTC brands.

Conduct independent research:

  • Thoroughly research target audience, product/brand, price points, offer, and funnel/buyer journey.

Manage tasks and deadlines:

  • Efficiently organize and manage tasks, ensuring timely completion based on project deadlines.

Conceptualize and provide "hook" ideas:

  • Generate creative concepts and compelling hooks to captivate the target audience.

Proofread all work:

  • Ensure accuracy and quality by thoroughly proofreading all written materials.

Proficient in project management tools:

  • Comfortably navigate Monday.com project management platform, Google Docs & Sheets, and Slack for seamless collaboration.


This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the success of the most prominent brands in the DR space and be a key player in the dynamic field of digital advertising.

Ideal candidates for this role must have a background in direct response (DR) marketing. Applicants without DR experience are not relevant and are discouraged from applying. We are specifically seeking individuals with a proven track record in crafting successful D2C funnel sales copy, including Video Sales Letters (VSLs).

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the cultural nuances and preferences of the US market.                         

Be a critical thinker and creative writer:

  • Possess the ability to think critically and creatively to craft compelling copy.

Have a proven track record:

  • Showcase a successful history of writing promotional D2C funnel sales copy, including Video Sales Letters (VSLs).

Have wide knowledge of funnel optimization and LTV creation:

  • Exhibit expertise in optimizing sales funnels and creating strategies to enhance customer Lifetime Value (LTV).

Understand direct response/direct-to-consumer marketing principles:

  • Display a solid comprehension of direct response marketing principles, goals, and metrics.

Have excellent English writing and grammar skills:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in English writing and grammar to maintain high-quality communication.

Be detail-oriented and a multi-tasker:

  • Prioritize tasks effectively, shift gears, and meet deadlines with precision.
