Scaffold Supervisor

Job description

Purpose / Role:

To provide safe and effective supervision in line with company and project procedures ensuring that the work scope is completed in line with the project schedule requirements.

To be a safety leaderTo lead, inform and motivate their workforce teams To co-ordinate and supervise labour, materials and equipmentTo ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all timesTo ensure the highest quality of workmanship

Prime duties & Responsibilities:

Plan & control work activities, manage resources.Supervise teams and drive safe performance.Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches.Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete work scope in a safe and controlled manner and communicate these controls.Maintain recordsEnsure PTW system adhered to at all times and complete inspections of completes WCC’sEnsure all scaffolds are erected, inspected, modified and dismantled in accordance with Cape technical manual & ProceduresCreate and communicate appropriate Method Statements & Risk Assessments where complex work scopes require.Ensure time writing for discipline teams is accurate and completed on time.Ensure job cards are completed and accurate progress and issues effecting reported are reported.Completion of trip evaluations and assessments in accordance with CAPE’s Performance and competency assessment system.

Qualifications/Experience:

Competent in specific trade with proven experienceValid Advanced CISRS card.
