AXA is offering a permanent position for a Research Philanthropy Manager for the AXA Research Fund - its global science philanthropy initiative.

AXA Group is a global leader in insurance and asset management.

Within the Group, you will join the AXA Research Fund. The AXA Research Fund is AXA’s global philanthropy initiative dedicated to supporting innovative, scientific research on key global risks inhealth, climate and social economics. We also focus on spreading the knowledge and disseminating the results of research to inform decision maker and the society at large.

With a €M250 commitment since its launch in 2007, the AXA Research Fund has supported over 700 projects led by scientists of 60 nationalities, in over 340 leading academic institutions.

As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to:

Lead the health research ecosystem. Source and identify exceptional targets for scientific philanthropy funding, with a focus on health research. Contribute to strategy development and co-build impactful initiatives for the AXA Research Fund. Oversee institutional relationships with a selected pool of partners, ensuring alignment and compliance. Develop a wider ecosystem of scientific philanthropy by fostering partnerships with other foundations and decision-making bodies. Valorize science by building a strong network of experts, organizing events, and supporting advocacy actions. Encourage impactful collaboration between AXA and the academia world to support our sustainability strategy.
Votre Profil

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Master’s degree or equivalent with 3 to 5 years’ experience in science, philanthropy, or academia Genuine interest in current health challenges and knowledge of insurance (AXA knowledge is a plus) Fluent in English and French with strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills Ability to work in a multicultural environment, take initiative, and work autonomously.
