Within Decathlon's offerings, a new Sportswear Business Unit has emerged. We aim to enhance the desirability of the brand, particularly in terms of style value and identity, without compromising on everyday comfort.
Our passion lies in crafting narratives, collections, products, and experiences that embody Decathlon's values.
We aspire to create an offering that goes beyond trend-following, transcending sport boundaries to establish genuine cultural connections with communities, coupled with relevant sales strategies.
Sportswear is culture - Sportswear is a lifestyle.
MISSION
Participate in the creation of the Sportswear apparel&accessories collection by proposing relevant and distinctive creative concepts for the lifestyle market - without compromising on comfort.
Engage with the current sportswear market, research upcoming inspirations and trends (sports culture & their expressions / lifestyle consumers).
Highlight the creative processes and present various concepts to the cross-functional team (sketches / mock-ups / 2D / 3D / etc).
Explore color and material variations to feed into the upcoming season's drops.
Collaborate with the overall Design team and the Concept teams to validate concepts.
Provide the Concept teams with details of the various creations in a timely manner (sketches and details / constructions / materials / trims / artworks / etc).
PROFIL
Industrial/fashion design student with strong design skills and an interest for sportswear/fashion/footwear.
Highly creative profile passionate about sportswear and street culture.
Highly developed observational and analytical skills - keen sense of curiosity
Good ability to present and communicate concepts effectively.
Strong desire to enhance technical skills in product development
Very proficient with Mac tools & Creative Suite (Illustrator / Photoshop)
Good level of English (written - spoken)
