Talking Therapies are looking for a Senior Employment Advisor to work alongside their team of therapists to ensure that a personalised package of combined psychological treatment and employment support is available to all service users.
This role is part of a new employment advice service where you will be supporting service users to gain, return to or retain employment, alongside managing and supporting a team of 6 Employment Advisors.
You will need to be enthusiastic and motivated with a caring and positive approach and have experience of supervising and line managing a small group of staff to succeed in this role.
This role will be county-wide and applicants must be prepared to travel across our Liskeard, Roche and Saltash bases.
This role is Fixed Term until the end of March 2025.
Main duties of the job
To offer regular caseload supervision to Employment Advisors within the service. To provide training to other Talking Therapies clinical staff about the Talking Therapies Employment Service. Conduct assessments with service users, discussing the person's job goals and any concerns regarding their capacity for work. Match job tasks and in the individual's ability to do the job and any work solutions that may be required to develop the match. Refer the person to other support if they have particularly complex barriers.

Approximately 568,000 people live here. A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon. As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon. In the summer, and during other holidays lots of people choose to visit the area. This increases the numbers of people who use our services.
