The Job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling, document verification, and initial training coordination.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure timely completion of all onboarding steps.
  • Provide candidates with information and access to necessary medical tests and clearances as part of the pre-employment process.
  • Work closely with the home care company’s management to streamline and optimize the recruitment and onboarding workflow.
  • Utilize company-provided software for tracking and managing applicant data (training provided on specific platforms like Arla).
  • Engage in other HR tasks and projects as the need arises, depending on the successful reduction of the current candidate backlog.

The Profile

Qualifications:

  • Experience in recruiting and HR, preferably within the home care or related healthcare sector.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are essential.
  • Proficient in using online recruitment platforms such as Indeed and ZipRecruiter is a bonus; previous experience with Arla is a plus but not required.
  • A proven track record of effective follow-through and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining professional relationships via text and phone.

In this vital role, you will manage the high-volume onboarding of approximately 30 aides each week, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process.
