We are currently looking for General Operatives to join our Team at Hunterston B Power Station
Local labour only
Must be willing to undergo CTC clearance
Start date: July
Fixed Term Contract until end of December approx.
As a General Operative you are responsible for supplying assistance to all trade’s men.
Role and Responsibilities:
To carry out firewatch/Standby duties
To operate the site Automate
To undertake general driving duties around site
To undertake basic slinging activities
To assist with holiday cover on Silo off loading
Provide general cleaning as per work requirements
Set up equipment for trade use
To assist trades men with their duties
Ensuring good working practices to optimize time on the workface
Adhere to Policies and Procedures as per AIMS/Client procedures
Communicate daily with site management and keep them fully informed of all issues
What we are looking for:
Previous experience relevent to the role
Local to site
