d2m Services is recruiting a FPSO Project & Interface Engineer who will be in charge of providing support to the FPSO Manager and the FPSO Team, during the engineering studies and CCFT preparation for the FPSO Project and coordinating the interfaces for the FPSO package.
Main responsibilities :
- Coordinate with the FPSO team for the progress of engineering studies, contract finalization, and project preparation.
- Support the FPSO Manager and FPSO engineering team in engineering studies for FPSO Contractors.
- Manage technical issues in coordination with relevant specialists.
- Develop internal procedures for the project.
- Monitor the FPSO package schedule.
- Organize and participate in project reviews.
- Anticipate problems and propose solutions or optimizations.
- Assist in the tendering process, clarification, and contract management for FPSO.
- Participate in tender clarification meetings and ensure follow-up.
- Coordinate with the FPSO contract engineer for monitoring contractual activities.
- Coordinate the preparation of the RTA with the FPSO team.
- Learn from lessons on similar projects.
- Define and implement interface management policies for the project and contractors.
- Identify and cover FPSO interface responsibilities during preparation and after contract award.
- Organize coordination meetings with package and contractor interface counterparts.
- Maintain key project documents (FDP, PEP, PQP, etc.).
- Ensure proper reporting to the FPSO Manager.
- Ensure confidentiality of interface management documentation.
- Collect and provide feedback on "lessons learned".
- Embrace and champion the H3SE rules.
- Embrace and champion the ethics policy and Anti-Corruption Program.
Context :
The activity is set in the pre-FID phase of a major project in South Africa. The project involves coordinating development studies for deep-water discoveries offshore . Key challenges include reservoir development, EPCI & OM FPSO contracts, and subsea production/injection system definition. The Project aims to optimize reserves, schedule, costs, and reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions while ensuring high technical quality and H3SE standards.
Requirements
Qualification: Solid experience in engineering for similar projects, including study and execution phases of large offshore oil & gas projects.
Languages: English and French.
Professional Experience: At least 10 years.
Project Experience: At least 5 years in large offshore oil & gas projects.
Benefits

Duration: 1 to 5 years after FPSO, SURF, and SPS contracts award
Location: France / Paris area, then at the Contractor's engineering site
Status: Residential in Paris for minimum 12 months ( no remote)
