We have a broad range of expertise and collaborate with leading academics to offer cutting-edge analyses and analytical tools to address business challenges that require rigorous, evidence-based research. We assist premier law firms in many different litigation contexts, including antitrust, intellectual property and commercial damages, and with all aspects of litigation, including pretrial discovery, development of economic and financial models, preparation of testimony, and critique of opposing experts. We advise corporate and government clients on a range of business issues that require expert interpretation of economic and financial data, including valuation of companies, and assets, securities and financial instruments, tax and transfer pricing issues, cost-effectiveness analyses, market analyses, and evaluation of mergers and acquisitions. Analysis Group also helps organizations create strategies for growth by analyzing market dynamics and organizational capabilities, enhancing innovation in current products and services, and identifying new market opportunities.

Associate Description:

We seek MBA & Ph.D. candidates who are passionate about using data and analytics to solve the economic, financial, and business challenges our clients face. Candidates should have a graduate degree in economics, finance, or general business with expertise in areas such as price theory, finance, industrial organization, labor economics, health economics, accounting, marketing, survey design, econometrics, market structure, and competitive economics. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and excellent command of English and French.

Responsibilities and work experiences may include:

Identifying key economic issues and developing relevant analytical frameworks Formulating economic and financial models Conducting empirical studies using Java, Python, R, SAS, Stata, VBA or other programs Performing quantitative and qualitative research Collaborating with academic and in-house experts Presenting results of analyses Thinking creatively about how leading-edge analytics and emerging data sources can address clients’ most pressing business challenges Helping companies leverage analytic tools to better manage innovation

Nous assistons des cabinets d’avocats sur de nombreux types de contentieux, notamment en matière d’antitrust, de propriété intellectuelle et de préjudices commerciaux. Nous intervenons à différents niveaux, notamment dans le développement de modèles économiques, économétriques et financiers, la préparation de dépositions, la critique des avis des experts de la partie adverse et les mesures d’instruction in futurum.

Nous conseillons par ailleurs des clients privés et institutionnels sur une variété de questions qui nécessitent l’interprétation de données économiques et financières complexes, notamment pour l’évaluation de réglementations ou de fusions-acquisitions ; la valorisation de préjudice, de sociétés, d’actifs, de titres ou d’instruments financiers ; l’étude des dynamiques de marché et l’analyse coût-efficacité de traitements.

Description du poste d’Associate :

Nous recherchons des candidats titulaires d’un doctorat (ou se préparant à soutenir leur thèse) qui désirent, via des analyses de données et des modèles théoriques, résoudre des problématiques économiques, financières ou commerciales auxquelles nos clients sont confrontés. Ce poste s’adresse aussi aux candidats titulaires d’un master en économie, finance, ou statistique ayant acquis en entreprise une expertise dans des domaines tels que l’organisation industrielle, l’économie de la concurrence, la théorie des prix, l’économétrie, la finance, l’économie du travail, l’économie de la santé, la comptabilité, le marketing quantitatif ou la conception d’enquêtes. Le candidat idéal aura en outre de solides compétences en communication, un attrait particulier pour le travail en équipe, une excellente maîtrise de l’anglais et une bonne compréhension du français.

Les responsabilités et le travail confiés aux associates peuvent inclure :

L’identification des questions économiques sous-jacentes aux problématiques de nos clients et du cadre d’analyse pertinent pour y répondre ; La construction de modèles économiques, économétriques ou financiers ; La conduite d’études empiriques sur R, Stata, Python, Java, SAS, VBA ou d’autres programmes ; La réalisation de recherches quantitatives et qualitatives ; La collaboration avec des experts universitaires et internes à notre cabinet ; La présentation des résultats d’analyses aux collaborateurs et aux clients ; L’identification de méthodes statistiques modernes et de nouvelles sources de données permettant de répondre aux problèmes rencontrés par nos clients.
