Your mission
We are recruiting eight Research Associate - In Vitro Oncology Drug Discovery positions, to join the R&D teams of the Medical Care Business Unit (BU MC) located in Toulouse (Langlade, Oncopole, 31).
Pierre Fabre Group is committed to develop innovative therapeutics to serve unmet cancer patient needs.
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented biologist to support our oncology drug discovery programs. You will work in a team led by a PhD. level scientist and you will be responsible for assay development, cell line engineering, design, execution and interpretation of experiments supporting discovery projects and characterization and profiling of novel drug candidates.
Develop, implement, and execute in vitro experiments to support oncology drug discovery efforts
Troubleshoot assays with a high level of independent critical thinking
Conduct mechanism of action and preclinical proof-of-concept studiesto profile novel therapeutics, alone or in combination, across multiple cancer indications
Work in collaboration with external partners and CROs
Propose technical solutions and experimental plans
Collaborate internally and present data and findings at internal scientific meetings
Who you are ?
Bachelor or Master degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology and/or Biochemistry
Extensive cell culture and molecular biology experience is required
3+ years of professional experience in the field of cancer biology is a plus
Experience in drug discovery in pharma industry or biotech and assay development is highly desirable
Ability to work in a highly collaborative and flexible environment
Show critical thinkingin data interpretation and scientific journals reading
Skills for experimental data analysis and presentation of results with (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, GraphPad Prism…).
