Mission

The Quantum Systems activity stems from theabsorption by Exail in of the start-up Muquans. It has developed uniqueexpertise in the field of quantum sensors. These revolutionary instruments, atthe frontiers of science and technology, are based on laser, optoelectronic andultra-high vacuum sub-assemblies combining numerous functionalities andoffering very high-level performance.

You will be working in a division of around 40people. This diverse and dynamic team combines skills in optics, lasers,electronics, computing, systems, mechanics, ultra-high vacuum and atomicphysics

Responsibilities : Absolute quantum gravimeters capable of measuring gravity with a relative accuracy of 10-9, dedicated to many geophysics applications including volcanology. Differential quantum gravimeters measuring gravitys vertical gradient to 10-10 g/m Laser-cooled microwave atomic clocks providing a time reference with relative stability of 1015

In this context, you will work on the quantum gravitysensors product line. Your activitieswill include:

· perform thoroughcharacterization of instruments from the first tests of the experimentalsequence to the final metrological assessment and in accordance with ourinternal processes, to make sure they meet the specifications

· participate inpost-sales customer support activities.

· participate to communicationduring exhibitions or conferences.

participate in newdevelopments at the component, subsystem or instrument level17

Profile

Education

· Master or PhD degree in optics or quantum physics

Skillsand abilities

· Atom cooling and manipulation techniques, quantumphysics

· An experience in metrology will be appreciated

· Lasers and optics, electronics, ultra-high vacuum,data processing

· Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills
