Job Summary

The Sr. Financial Analyst  position will serve as the General Ledger interface admin and senior level team member to provide guidance to the team and council leaders when necessary. Will also conduct oversight of the Procard Journal system as necessary.

This is a defined-term contract position renewable each fiscal year and located in Versailles, KY.

KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time.

Job Duties:

Administer general ledger interfaces for payroll and benefits.

Works with college employees to correct budget issues.

Prepare annual IPEDS, FD's and SACS unrestricted net assets.

Prepare Statement of Net Position and Statement of Revenue, Expenses and Charges in Net Assets for colleges, including statements without the impact of pension and other postemployment benefits.

Coordinate the printing process for these and other audit reports and correspondences.
Serves as backup for bank reconciliations, journal approvals, AR related processes and provides assistance/training to financial analyst position.

Assists Colleges and System Office departments with various accounting/general ledger requests.

Performs testing of PeopleSoft updates and enters various journal entries and uploads.

Assists with external audit as needed and performs other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and two years of relevant experience or equivalent. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and five years of relevant experience or equivalent.
