Purpose

This role manages testing activities of products or solutions to ensure that the quality is compliant with standards and to meet customer requirements.

Key Missions

Part of our Radio Frequency (RF) team and reporting to our Radio Frequency team leader, the Radio Frequency & Solution engineer function consists in delivering best in class system solution as requested by the R&D and Business Unit Groups.


We are currently looking for a Radio Frequency & Solution engineer to analyze, compare, measure, verify, validate, and deliver best RF system with analog, digital, antenna parts and communication links. The RF Engineer & Solution will be also responsible of RF requirements and measured performances.

And as a RF engineer you will also work into all RF projects; we are expecting you to be a key element between all teams for RF projects.

As part of our R&D division/Engineering team, you will:

Understand standards, system level constraints (Performance vs antenna, analog and digital IPs) to provide functional contactless solutions as requested by our BU customers, Provide solutions (architecture, electrical characteristics, behavioral models) to our design teams to reach RF performances, Participate to the antenna choice analyze & orientation / RF system / Tuning / hardware specifications, Propose and Develop test chip prototypes (Proof of Concept), Work on RF Verification, Implementation and Validation of our products Support the Analog and digital team for the RF IPs (verification with Model delivery MATLAB or other), Develop and optimize RF bench setups if needed, Create and Provide Validation plan, Test Plan to the RF team (Engineering samples), With the RF team members, do the RF measurements for Validation, Characterization and Qualification, and review the results, Guarantee RF performances during factory flow (Configurations, Test, Trims). Etc…

Profile & Other Information

The collaboration with other Engineering teams (Application, Emulation/Verification/Validation, Digital and Analog IP developers, Backend, Product and Test Engineering, Laboratory and Validation, Firmware and OS SW team, Antenna and integration factory, Chip Design team) and all the R&D is required.

To succeed in this position, you will need the following skills or experiences:

5 years of experience minimum in a similar position, Master’s degree and/or PhD in electronic/radiofrequency Mixed signal (Digital, Analog, Firmware), chip Hardware, Antenna design and standards, System, Simulation (HFSS, MATLAB) and Measurement expertise, Analog knowledge (configuration, trim, process performance), Experienced engineer in measurement tools and RF in laboratory environment (Bench development, Automatic Measurements, Characterization, Qualification), Python language, Knowledge of basic communication standards as SPI, I²C ISO7816, ISO14443, ISO10373-6, NFC, USB, Understand the constraints of the support functions to our BU customers (product and tool debug),
