Dataiku is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Sustainability Analyst to support developing, implementing, and monitoring our sustainability strategies. In this role, you will conduct sustainability assessments, analyze and report on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data, and contribute to achieving our corporate responsibility goals. You will work cross-functionally with various departments to support projects and initiatives that reduce our environmental footprint, enhance our social impact, and drive long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Decarbonization Strategy Execution : With the support of our climate management partner Watershed, support the development and execution of the company’s decarbonization strategy, conducting carbon measurement and setting and monitoring reduction targets aligned with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) guidelines Data Collection & Analysis : Collect, monitor, and analyze data related to sustainability metrics, including carbon emissions, water and energy use, waste management, and social responsibility indicators Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on ESG performance for internal stakeholders and external reporting Project Support: Collaborate with sustainability teams on projects and initiatives such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, supply chain transparency, and employee engagement in sustainability practices Stakeholder Engagement: Work with various departments, suppliers, and external partners to support sustainability initiatives, gather data, and promote awareness Policy Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of policies and guidelines that align with the company’s sustainability goals Research & Benchmarking: Conduct research on industry best practices, regulatory trends, and new sustainability technologies to support decision-making and strategy development Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements in sustainability practices and recommend solutions based on data-driven insights

Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a sustainability, environmental management, or related role; familiarity with ESG reporting standards and sustainability frameworks is preferred Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analytics software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Dataiku), and environmental management systems; experience with SBTi, GRI, CDP, SASB, and/or TCFD reporting is advantageous Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and concise manner Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey sustainability concepts and data insights to non-technical audiences Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling and interpreting data Passion for Sustainability: A demonstrated interest in sustainability, social impact, and environmental stewardship English speaking fluent  - a plus to speak French but mandatory What are you waiting for At Dataiku, you'll be part of a journey to shape the ever-evolving world of AI.
