Position Summary:

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver product and disease-state training to affiliates.Provide technical product and disease state expertise to technical veterinary/marketing teams in affiliates.Serve as medical lead in the development of key data summaries and medical presentations to support the brand.Working with key affiliates to maintain and build a network of KOLs, organizing ad boards and maintaining a scientific speaker’s bureau to support future launches.Assist in the execution of yearly international brand plans for the category.Work closely with affiliate technical veterinary/marketing teams to collect feedback, field expertise, and provide scientific brand updates.Proactively gather market intelligence, and prepared and communicate internal response strategy.Develop and maintain relationships with major veterinary associations/organisations.Collaborate with US to transfer shared knowledge between US and International region.Identify, prioritize and coordinate post approval studies with appropriate cross-functional individuals, ensuring compliance with Elanco and Industry regulations and standards.Serve as INT marketing medical expert to Corporate & Global Innovation Strategy group, Business Development and R&D to ensure alignment on pipeline/life cycle management prioritization to address commercial needs.

Basic Qualifications:

Veterinary Medicine5+ years’ experience as a practicing veterinarian in companion animal or experience in comparable industry roleStrong command of English language.

Additional Information:

1-year fixed contract. 

Part time position (70% of working time).

International role working across different time zones.

Travel:

Approx. 5-10%
