The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. The headquarters gathers approximately 1000 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities), which makes it a rich and stimulating place to work.
You will join the Group Financial Controlling Department (PBRC - Plan Budget Results Central) with 180 people, and the Finance team (Accounting/Reporting teams) of 50 people, under the management of the Central Holdings Director. The recruitment is for the "Accounting Management of Central holdings" team of 7 people, responsible for managing the parent company financial statements.
The team's main tasks include producing parent company and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, recording and settling overheads, and managing the accounting for 15 holdings, including AXA SA, the parent company of the AXA Group, which is part of a tax consolidation group and a VAT group.
As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to :
Be responsible (under French, Tax Gap and IFRS):
To ensure the proper accounting of AXA Holdings' financial operations and validate the monthly financial charge and ensure the exchanges with Financial Team (DCFG); To guarantee that the financial charge should be recorded through the correct analytical folders; To make sure that Year end closing entries are properly registered; To ensure correct recording of re-evaluation process.Manage (under French, Tax Gap and IFRS):
The correct P&L movements related to AXA Holdings’ activities (Dividends, Sales, Redemption, etc.) for monthly closing exercises; The foreign currency impacts related to the financial operations and analysis to understand the calculation in SAP/Arpson; The follow up of the recording of debts, shares and derivatives accounting impacts; The preparation of the bank reconciliations, particularly for multi-currency accounts; The monitoring of the discrepancies and suspense items; The supervising of the securities account reconciliations; The auditors' requests about bank circularization, in liaison with the Finance Department.Ensure (under French, Tax Gap and IFRS):
The correct derivative hedging documentation coherent to the economic vision of DCFG (under: French gaap, Tax and IFRS); Guarantee that the records in accounting systems are following this documentation; Follow-up the day-to-day movement on the derivative and ensure the accounting impact related to the derivatives roll.Be involved into the:
Continuous improvement of information control processes; As far as possible, simplify work methods by optimizing the use of tools; Participate in updating procedures and ensure compliance with internal control standards.Votre Profil
To succeed in this role, you will need :
Bac +3/5 degree in Finance/Accounting; At least 5 years' experience in accounting; Solid accounting and tax foundations; Aptitude for IT; General accounting and tax techniques ; Professional English (English-speaking contacts); Mastery of Pack Office; Knowledge of SAP is a plus.A propos d'AXA
