Assistant Manager – Internal Audit:
As an Internal Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations and adherence to regulatory standards. Reporting to Regional Internal Audit Manager (India & Bangladesh), you will conduct thorough audits of our financial processes, internal controls, and compliance procedures across all schools within our group.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Regional Audit Manager in developing a risk-based audit plan. Carry out audits in accordance with the Audit Plan vis-à-vis special assignments as advised by the Regional Audit Manager. Recommend robust controls for the areas of risks identified during the audits. Compile precise and clear audit reports Evaluation of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and effectiveness of existing policies and procedures and provide recommendations for improvements. Liaise with the key members of the management team to compile Management feedback / action plans emanating from the audits. Systematically track the action plans agreed upon and monitor the closure of audit findings. Work with local managers and staff to ensure a robust control environment and alignment to best practices as advised by the Regional Audit Manager. Assist the Regional Audit Manager in streamlining the audit policies and procedures, and audit working papers etc. Assist in preparing the Audit Committee presentations.

The requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

A solid educational background such as CA, ACCA, CMA, or similar professional qualification in finance and / or audit. At least 4 years of relevant professional experience. Certifications such as CIA/ CISA/ CFE would be a plus. Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & oral) including excellent report writing. High degree of professionalism, commitment, and integrity. Cultural awareness, understanding, and sensitivity. An eye for detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in analytical tools (e.g., Power BI) will be preferred. Willingness to travel within India (including remote areas) and outside India.
