This role is part of our Personalised Creative team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more
JOB PURPOSE:
As a Designer, you will be creating engaging designs that start conversations between people and brands. You will be part of a small team of creative, composed by 2 designers and 1 copywriter to deliver impactful designs that fulfil client briefs and communicate DEPT®’s standard of Design.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand project requirements and concepts; working on a brief from start to finishProduce final design solutionsCreating marketing display banners from scratchAnimate engaging and disruptive videos for socialWork closely with the production team to deliver multiple campaigns at the same timeUse feedback from your peers as well as leaders to improve standard of workPitch creative ideas where relevant that enhance projectsLiaise with the client and explain design thinkingResearch latest design trends to put into practiceApply industry trends and innovations to day to day workBeing able to bring creative and new ideas by respecting brand guidelines and client demands.SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
You will have a genuine love for the medium, and in particular digital marketingGood eye for visual design and understanding of visual elements; layout, type and fontsExperience with design software including Adobe Suite (Predominantly Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma.Familiarity with design techniques (e.g. prototyping)Ability to design in small web placementsGood typesetting & retouching skillsGreat communication skillsExcellent team player and problem solving aptitudeSelf-driven with an inquisitive natureWE OFFER
