We are currently seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to join our global team, this is a fantastic newly created role that can be based in the UK, France, Spain or the Netherlands.

About the role:

We have the clear ambition to become the uncontested leading European provider of integrated, end-to-end HR solutions for all organizations and workers. To realize our ambitious plans, Pricing has been identified as a strategic lever for growth and we are therefore currently looking to expand our internal Pricing muscle.

The Pricing Manager will report to the Strategic Pricing Director. The Pricing team sits within Commercial Excellence, a central function which is the commercial engine that underpins growth in our markets by defining strategy and translating it into offerings, commercial enablement and execution.

In our 26 countries and across our 4 segments (SME/mid-market/large enterprises/international), we drive customer value and growth through easy to buy and easy to sell value propositions based on continuous market interaction and solid expertise.

What do you have to offer?

  • Proven experience (3 years+) in packaging and pricing in a B2B setting, ideally in a SaaS and managed services industry. Experience within HR Tech and/or payroll services domain are beneficial but not essential
  • A strong analytical skill set and can drive business insights forward with imperfect data
  • An Intrapreneur who truly takes on commitment and delivers
  • Has strong commercial acumen and balances quantitative and qualitative inputs. Pricing is more art than science
  • Always sees the bigger picture, linking your work to the overall strategy of our company
  • Is adept at building rapport with stakeholders and managing expectations
  • As a critical analytical mind, contributes to the continuous challenging of the status quo
  • Is a true team player. One for all, all for one
  • Is fluent in English (spoken and written), any other European language is considered as a plus.


Which tasks can you expect?

  • You will develop and refine pricing strategies for our European markets and segments that align with the company's business objectives and market dynamics, ensuring pricing models are competitive and contribute both to top and bottom line.
  • You identify and seize opportunities to drive revenue growth through pricing optimization.
  • You implement pricing analytics and methodologies to measure and report on price performance, using these data-driven insights to drive informed decisions.
  • You continuously monitor and optimize pricing models across our markets and segments, taking into account our value proposition, product positioning, and cost structures.
  • In collaboration with our market intelligence team, you conduct thorough market and customer research and competitive analysis to identify pricing opportunities and potential threats.
  • Together with the Portfolio team, you strive to define and optimize the packaging and bundling of our portfolio offering in order to maximize value for our customers and the SD Worx group.
  • Working with the Sales Excellence team, you propose pricing governance policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance throughout the organization, and develop better price tooling
  • You are a true team player so challenging views, sharing expertise and encouraging intrapreneurship comes natural to you
  • You will be a key contributor to the development of the Pricing team and of a pricing culture withing SD Worx
  • You will be based in one of our European countries and are willing to travel up to 10%
