We're looking for dedicated a Payroll Accountant to deliver top-notch, efficient payroll accounting services for the Mars Petcare and Food France business unit. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

In this role, you will:

Deliver exceptional payroll services: Provide comprehensive payroll accounting support, ensuring strict compliance with all processes and legal regulations. Your ability to work diligently, responsibly, and independently will be key to your success.

Master payroll accounting processes: Deepen your expertise in payroll accounting, tools, and applications, becoming a go-to resource within the team.

Innovate and improve: Identify and implement innovative solutions in non-standard situations, while continuously seeking opportunities for process enhancements.

Key areas of focus:

Streamline accounting processes: Enhance accounting processes and controls to drive greater efficiency and accuracy.

Ensure accuracy in payroll costs: Oversee the precise processing and maintenance of payroll costs, contributing to the overall financial health of the business.

What are we looking for?

You bring valuable experience from a previous accounting role , with a solid understanding of payroll processes.

You excel in planning and organizational skills, enabling you to manage your workload efficiently and effectively.

You're a collaborative team player who thrives on taking initiative and driving results.

You are fluent in both French and English , allowing you to communicate seamlessly in a bilingual environment.

What would be your key responsibilities?

Calculate and post all relevant payroll accruals.

Prepare and approve balance sheet reconciliations.

Execute assigned transactions and steps according to the period-end close schedule.

Support external and internal audit reviews for local unit activities.

Collaborate with HR teams, Treasury, and external providers to ensure all activities are performed correctly and on time.

Monitor and correct errors in payroll calculations.

Resolve payroll accounting and overhead queries raised by the business.
