The position

Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a seasoned and Dynamic ‘ Manager Compensation & HR Operations ’ based in its head office, Rawalpindi.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Head of HR in developing an appropriate human resource strategy and policy framework for the organization. Develop, recommend, implement, administer and modify policies for compensation, incentives, and benefits programs. Manage and participate in salary surveys and analyze reports making recommendations to the Head of HR as required. Establish, implement, and maintain the employee salary structure on an annual basis. Manage a team people and coordinate the work of staff to deliver the department objectives. Liaise with insurance companies, analysts, and other stakeholders as needed. Assist Head of HR with compensation issues and decisions. Develop mechanism to ensure proper communication with the staff. Conduct feasibility analyses of third-party software for HRIS and lead its effective implementation. Coordinate with lawyers and ensure compliance in all HR related matters. Develop dashboard indicators and monthly reports to monitor and to show progress in HR operations. Prepare budgets for HR operations. Prepare reports for different stakeholders and fulfill all reporting requirements for all relevant stakeholders. Ensure timely execution of payroll. Monitor payroll processing and reconciliation on monthly basis of management and non-management staff. Ensure updates of employee records, performance management, development plans, talent management data, including personal files and HRIS occur on a timely basis with high quality. Research and analyze current government regulations and industry practices in order to create competitive employee wage rates and compensation policies. Identify and implement benefits that increase employee quality of life. Direct the preparation and distribution of information for employees regarding benefits, compensation, and related policies. Oversee the compensation and benefit programs in the event of induction of donor funded employee, secondments etc. Implement best HR practices.

The requirements

Education, Experience & Competencies

16 years of education in HR/Finance or a related field, with more than 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Knowledge of HR principles and procedures. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities. Expertise in MS Office especially MS excel. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, HR modeling, and coordination of people and resources. Clear understanding of employment laws and regulatory systems and requirements. Knowledge of statistical software and applications. Should be well versed with human resource information system (HRIS) Due to urgency, this vacancy may be filled before the due date.
