Qonto has grown a 60 Data team with Data Engineers Analytics Engineers Data Analysts Data Scientists and ML Engineers working together todeliver great tables dashboards insights and data products
The Data Product Team has 12 Machine Learning Engineers reporting to two Leads themselves reporting to you Their mission is to turn data into value for our customers through automation
As Head of Data Products you will
Manage the Data Products team of 12 ML engineers and 2 managers Coach your team leaders and ML Engineers to maintain quality and velocity Take accountability for your team delivery with a high level of quality and on time Increase efficiency and efficacy in our data product initiatives Implement and improve our Machine Learning Operations MLOps practices with an emphasis on anticipating and managing the model lifecycle more proactively Interact with key stakeholders across various departments to support the launch and scaling of new financial products: RiskFraud Product Finance Onboarding to streamline data product integration Bookkeeping and Invoicing Make your team shine inside and outside Qonto and spread a culture of continuous improvement
The team uses Python SQL and stateoftheart infrastructure encompassing Kubernetes AWS PostgreSQL Snowflake Kafka and the latest AIdriven tools like LLMs and OCRs to create advanced data products

His background?Before joining Qonto Jérémie was an associate professor at Telecom Paris and Telecom SudParis Heled data teams for some of Frances most reputed digital companies and still advises several deep tech startups He teaches at Ecole Polytechnique and coauthored over 50 scientific papers
What does he bring to the team?Jérémie defines a clear vision and path to success for our data platform BI data science and data products teams He ensures they operate efficiently and have a smoothcollaboration with other departments at Qonto He also helps them continuously learn new skills while improving their existing ones and is still very involved in the hiring of his teams
About You
People Management: You have managed teams within a structured tech company and know how to make your team growDelivery Management: Proven track record of managing complex deliveries within a crossfunctional environment collaborating effectively with Product Risk and Technology teamsTech Skills: Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and review code Proficiency in Python is essentialFunctional knowledge in MLFraudLanguages:You are fluent in English French is a plus
