Portfolio Manager Assistant – Thematics AM Stage

Thematics AM is based in Paris and manages over 3.0 bn USD of client assets across a focused range of global active thematic equity strategies. The company employs 22 people, including 11 portfolio managers. Thematics Asset Management is an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, one of the world’s largest asset management firms ($1.02 trillion / €.2 billion AuM). The firm was set up by 6 partners in early . Five of those partners are highly experienced portfolio managers that have an established reputation and proven track record in thematic investing. The firm is run with an entrepreneurial spirit, the funds are managed based on fundamental bottom-up research and conviction-based stock picking as part of a well-structured investment process.

Title: Portfolio Manager Assistant

Location: Paris, FRANCE

Internship length: 6 months / ASAP

Salary: Competitive

Key Responsibilities

Conduct equity research and financial analysis using internal tools Support the Portfolio Managers in their daily tasks and on-going projects: daily portfolio validations and cash-flow monitoring Attend and Prepare meetings with sell-side analysts and companies management teams Supervise the update of reports, portfolio monitors and commercial presentation documents Ensure the timely set up of meetings, calls and conferences >

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience


PROFILE • Post-graduate student from business schools, universities, or engineering schools. A plus if you have a dual business/engineering background • First experience in the asset management industry preferred, but other relevant experiences in finance will be considered • Good account modeling and stock valuation skills • Proficient in MS Office • Knowledge of Bloomberg • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills • Excellent communication and writing skills • CFA candidate is a plus If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact: Annaelle Couronne:
