Under Solvency II (SII), the SCOR Group and its EEA subsidiaries are required to report on a quarterly and/or annual basis Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRT), Solvency and Financial Condition Reports (SFCR) and Regular Supervisory Reports (RSR). 

The SII QRT reporting team is producing the quantitative reporting while the production of the narratives (SFRCR and RSR) is under the responsibility of the URD and narratives team. 

The team is responsible for the coordination, maintenance and further development of the Group processes for the production of URD, Half year reports and SII narratives reports (SFCR and RSR). 

The individual manages SCOR’s Solvency II Narrative reporting. The role involves the coordination of the production and delivery of Solvency II qualitative reports (SFCR, RSR, ad hoc reporting) as well as regulatory compliance support to all Solvency II Pillar 3 deliverables on behalf of the SCOR Group and its European Economic Area (EEA) solo entities.


Coordination of production of SII narrative reports

• Manage production of annual SFCR and RSR in English and in French – coordinate with key stakeholders and contributors, manage the internal and external review and delivery process, incl. reporting tool, monitor compliance with requirements.

• Coordinate cross functional processes to obtain contributions from various teams across the Group, ensuring quality and consistency of the reports. Lead reports roll- forward to the next reporting period and production cycle.

• Manage reporting process improvements and reports industrialisation. Implement and maintain the reporting tool, coordinate service providers and consultants.

• Support preparation of the financial sections of the narrative reports in liaison with a range of stakeholders, review sections and ensure compliance and consistency across the Group (between entities and group as well as other reports, e.g. URD, ORSA). Provide requirements interpretations, resolve issues and find solutions.

Compliance and regulatory

• Manage Solvency II Pillar 3 reporting regulatory watch across SCOR Group. Follow reporting requirements of EIOPA, the European Central Bank and national regulators (EEA locations including France, UK and Ireland).

• Communicate on P3 compliance across teams involved in reporting and follow up on new developments.

• Support and review documentation of SCOR’s positions and processes for Pillar 3 qualitative reporting. Challenge and support improvements process.

Other

• Coordinate between the different stakeholders of narrative reporting and compliance specialists (legal entity coordinators, compliance functions).

• In cooperation with IT, manage and coordinate the part of the reporting tool related to SII narrative reports

• Contribute to other regulatory and financial reporting initiatives

• Support ongoing projects and ad hoc initiatives, such as the review of the SII guidelines and regulations and the associated updates and ammendments to the QRTs


Experience: 

Minimum of 5 years experience in financial reporting team Proven work experience within SII environment Sound IFRS knowledge Ability to analyse requirements and reduce complicated factual contents to the essentials  Excellent English and French

Required education

BAC+5 in finance or equivalent At least five years in a reporting department of a publicly traded company or Big 4 audit firm
