Your role & mission

As part of Procurement department, you will assist the Category Buyers (for production and non-production purchases) in their activities and contribute to the evolution of the Procurement function through the improvement of processes or tools.

Based in our plant close to Belfort (Foussemagne, 90)

Your scope & daily tasks

Participate, for general and technical purchases, in the various acts of the purchasing cycle: Calls for tender / consultationsEvaluation of offers and selection of suppliersDrawing up a robust contract / negotiating framework agreementContract executionPerformance evaluation Participate in the elaboration of short- to medium-long term development strategies for the different product categories, considering market innovation trends Follow the rules and processes of the sourcing function, propose improvement actions Promote good practice and good working relationships with internal stakeholders, with a view to performance. Your profile

Education Higher education in industrial procurement/business administration, and/or general engineering school Ideally you are looking for a two-year apprenticeship. Know-how Fluency in English, knowledge of Italian and/or German is a plus Create, develop and challenge a supplier base Knowledge of the industrial purchasing cycle Good technical understanding of the product Knowledge of MS Office Knowledge of the contractual aspects of industrial purchasing Safety culture Possibility of business trip in France and/or abroad Soft skills Analytical mind Rigor and organizational skills Very good communication skills, ability to create and facilitate links with internal clients and suppliers Sense of confidentiality/discretion
