Are you the person we are looking for?

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Brand Development and Creative to lead the evolution of the BlackBerry QNX brand and drive creative excellence across all touchpoints. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies, overseeing the creative direction of marketing initiatives, and fostering a culture of innovation within the creative team. This role will report to the Head of Marketing of the BlackBerry QNX division.

You will:

Develop and implement brand strategies to elevate the QNX brand portfolio and drive market differentiation in B2B and/or B2B2C.Lead the creative development process, from concept ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and messaging.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate brand messaging and creative assets across all marketing channels, including digital, print, events, social media and sales collaterals.Provide strategic guidance on visual identity, brand positioning, and messaging to maintain consistency and relevance in the market.Manage and mentor a high-performing creative team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for brand growth and innovation.Measure and analyze the effectiveness of brand initiatives and creative campaigns, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.Manage interface with 3rd party marketing agencies while controlling marketing spend.

You will have:

Comprehensive experience in brand development, creative direction, and marketing strategy, preferably in the technology or automotive industries.Proven track record of leading successful brand initiatives and creative campaigns that drive business results.Strong understanding of brand positioning, consumer insights, and market dynamics.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate creative talent.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools is a plus.Expert in visualizing complex topics with impactful graphics and PowerPoint slides,
