Mission Details

Arkema is looking for the head office of Colombes, a Deputy Head of Group Consolidation & Reporting.

Reporting to the Head of Group Consolidation & Reporting, you are the referent for the dedicated processes and reports of the consolidation & reporting activities of the Group.
You have the hierarchical responsibility of a team of 5 people and you maintain the necessary expertise of consolidation/reporting team and affiliates accountants thru the knowledge transfer of consolidation technics and group practices
You implement the right accounting treatment for specific & technical operation ( acquisition, divesture, merger, contract)
You work in a context of change (organization, regulation, information system) and ensure the development and the optimization of resources to ensure the best performance in Arkema reporting (including IT tools)

ACTIVITIES :

• Ensure the reliability and the timely production of the delegated part of Group IFRS accounts (quarterly) and half-yearly disclosure put at the disposal of the financial markets, Board, Management, BUs and other functional divisions.
• Consolidate monthly production various data (Sales, P&L, Non-Recurring items, Capex, Working Capital, Finance result, Tax, Cash-flow) for various Stakeholders (Corporate & BU FP&A, Corporate Finance, Tax, …) as well as budget
• Make sure the necessary elimination and/or Consolidation adjustment are properly accounted 
• Justify and explain the IFRS accounts towards auditors. 
• Define general Arkema accounting rules and procedures “Financial Reporting Manual” and ensure it is properly used, understood and followed within the Group.
• Ensure proper training is done throughout the Group for all new acquisition or newcomer and explain the IFRS rules 
• Assist and answer BUs’ requests 
• Contribute to book the proper accounting for any Purchase Price Allocation following an acquisition.
• Contribute to the timely production of yearly activities 
• Support the consolidation/reporting team and maintain the expertise of the conso/reporting team at the required level.
• Contribute to the continuous adequacy of the Consolidation & Reporting Information System towards the evolving needs of our various internal customers 

Required Profile

• Qualification : MBA or Finance degree 
• Experience: > 10 years in finance and accounting ; good knowledge of ERP / Consolidation Information System
• Strong finance expertise and ability to analyze in order to ensure the reliability of the data produced
• Leadership: ability to manage team / ability to organize the tasks and to anticipate changes
• Demonstrated ability to communicate “up and down” the organization; reliable contacts for affiliates, BU and other functional department
• Good knowledge of AK Organization & Group Financial rules / Fluent in English
