What you will do

As the Digitalization Strategy Lead for Virtual Testing and Simulation, you will play a key role in the digital transformation at Complete Vehicle France (CVFR). CVFR function is responsible for Trucks Feature Verification & Validation and Prototypes deliveries, and we are on an exciting change journey with focus on quality, truck performance and new technologies.  

 

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to reduce reliance on physical tests by promoting virtual alternatives. You will coordinate efforts across different teams already working on simulation software, ensuring a unified approach to testing and validation for the entire vehicle. Your goal is to maximize efficiency, test coverage, and sustainability.

 

Key responsabilities

  • Coordinate and align the efforts of various teams specialized in simulation (e.g., chassis, powertrain, electronics) to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach at the complete vehicle level.
  • Develop and lead the strategy for a “digital first” approach, aligning simulation activities with physical V&V (verification and validation) activities and optimizing the test fleet (e.g., CAD models, digital twins).
  • Create and manage actions to generalize the adoption of virtual testing solutions, with a focus on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and environmental sustainability (e.g. monitor and analyze the effectiveness of implemented virtual testing solutions).
  • Lead technological and market watch efforts to identify new trends, tools, and practices that could enhance the company’s simulation strategy.

Who are you

  • Engineering degree (e.g. mechanical engineering) with a specialization in virtual simulation and/or testing in the automotive industry.
  • Min. 5 years experienced in simulation tools (e.g. CAE Tools like MSC, ABAQUS, Matlab Simulink) and emerging technologies (digital twins, AI, modeling).
  • Strong ability to develop strategies and roadmaps to integrate digital tools into complex environments.
  • Expertise in cross-functional management and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Awareness of sustainability goals and a commitment to reducing environmental impact in industrial processes.
  • Innovative, business and positive oriented mindset, with a talent for seeing opportunities where others might see risks.
  • French and english mandatory
