Services, Ltd. is hiring an Estimator to join our team in
Pinson/Birmingham, AL.

At Fives, we all have a part
to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be:

* Communication with sales
and engineering regarding proposed projects and scope of projects.
* Understand scope of work
to accurately estimate the project. This may include possible travel
to customer site locations to gather first hand information.
* Review and prepare
detailed estimates using external and internal RFQ documents and
specifications.
* Conducts research to
obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times etc.
* Uses software for data
analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
* Obtains and reviews
offers and quotes by subcontractors and vendors
* Generates BOM
requirements.
* Generates equipment
requirements and cost for project execution.
* Generates proposal
documents and project time lines.
* Obtains pricing from
vendors and subcontractors.
* Builds relationships
with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers etc.)
* Ensures timely
completion of estimates.
* Creates and submits
estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons (sales, project
managers, clients, etc.)

If this is you, come join us

* 5+ years experience as
an estimator in a project based organization.
* Basic understanding of
accounting and project management concepts.
* Deep understanding of
research methodology, data analysis and estimation metrics.
* Excellent knowledge of
construction based software.
* Proficiency in MS Office
and computer skills.
